Synopsis The terrain of Indian feminism has grown and shifted over the decades but debates over issues of caste, Class, Queerness, the male gaze and the relation of India to the diaspora have only intensified. Above all, this collection brings out the rich heterogeneity of local manifestations of feminism in India and the ways in which these challenge notions of nation and individual identity.
