About the author Wonsun Shin is Senior Lecturer in Media and Communications at the School of Culture and Communication, the University of Melbourne, Australia. She has extensive research experience in youth, digital media, parental mediation, and marketing communications. Her work has been published in top-tier, high-impact communication journals, including New Media and Society, Communication Research, International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Journal of Health Communication, and Journal of Children and Media. among others. She has received multiple research awards and recognitions from renowned international academic organisations, including four best paper awards. She serves as an Editorial Review Board member of the Journal of Advertising and the International Journal of Advertising. May O Lwin is a Professor at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information and a Professor (Joint) with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. May is Associate Dean (Special Projects) for the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences and the Director of NTU's University Scholars Programme. She is also the Asia Scholar Professor, an honorary appointment at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She specializes in strategic and health communication. She has published in leading journals like Journal of Communication, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing and Journal of Advertising Research. She has also authored several books, book chapters and won numerous, including the Ogilvy Foundation Award and the Fulbright ASEAN Scholar Award.
