The National Council of Educational Research & Training conducts the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for awarding scholarships to meritorious students from all backgrounds. This book has been designed for the Class 10^th students preparing for NTSE Examination 2018.

The present study package for NTSE Class 10^th covers Paper-I MAT (Mental Ability Test) and Paper-II SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). The Paper-I MAT covers Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and General English whereas the Paper-II SAT covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics and Economics, each sub-divided into number of chapters as per the syllabi of the examination.Detailed theoretical content along with illustrations and figures has been covered in each chapter for better understanding of the concepts. Also, solved problems designed on the lines of questions asked in previous years’ NTSE Examinations have been provided in the book. Also, unsolved practice exercises have been provided at the end of each chapter to help aspirants practice the concepts discussed in the chapters. The book also contains 2016 & 2017 Solved Papers NTSE to help aspirants get an insight into the recent examination pattern and the types of questions asked therein. Also, General Knowledge section has been provided at the end of the book. Five Practice Sets designed on the lines of NTSE along with their hints and solutions have been given at the end of the book.
