About the author "James K. Sebenius is the Gordon Donaldson Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, where he founded the Negotiation unit and now teaches advanced negotiation to students and senior executives, and cofounder of Lax Sebenius LLC, a negotiation strategy and consulting firm. Formerly on the faculty of Harvard’s Kennedy School, he chairs the Harvard-MIT-Tufts Great Negotiator Award program, and serves as the Director of the Harvard Negotiation Project at Harvard Law School. Nicholas Burns is the Roy and Barbara Goodman Family Professor of the Practice of Diplomacy and International Relations at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.He is the Director of the Future of Diplomacy Project and Faculty Chair for the Programs on the Middle East and on India and South Asia. Burns is Director of the Aspen Strategy Group, Senior Counselor at the Cohen Group, and serves on the Board of Directors of Entegris, Inc. Robert H. Mnookin is the Samuel Williston Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, the Chair of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, and the Director of the Harvard Negotiation Research Project. Henry Kissinger served as National Security Advisor and later concurrently as United States Secretary of State in the administrations of Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. For his actions negotiating the ceasefire in Vietnam, Kissinger received the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize."
