About the author
Hi! I am Lavnya, a doctor by profession, but a writer by passion. I am also an avid reader, a foodie and a die-hard Potterhead. My love for writing was established during my childhood, by the unfathomable expanse of natural beauty around me in Coimbatore and by my late grand aunt, who was an avid reader, a bibliophile and a great doctor. After completing my schooling, I moved to Kerala for my MBBS and that’s where my love affair with Kerala began. The bustling port city of Kochi, where I spent the six best and happiest years of my life, turned out to be a catalyst for my self-growth and discovery. From a shy and coy dame, I transformed into a high-octane chatterbox. And yes, that’s where I discovered the beauty of first love, heartbreak and friendship like never before. Subsequently, after completing my post-graduation in Ophthalmology in Pondicherry, I decided to reinstate my relationship with the written word, and that’s when this book was conceived. I’m presently pursuing my fellowship in retinal surgery in Pondicherry, along with my literary pursuits.
