About the author
Poile Sengupta has written several books for children, including The Exquisite Balance, The Way to My Friend?s House, Story of the Road, How the Path Grew (CBT), Waterflowers (Scholastic), Role Call, Role Call Again (Rupa). She has also written a modern retelling, Vikram and Vetal, and a collection of plays, Good Heavens! One-Act Plays for Children, both published by Puffin. She is a teacher and lives in Delhi.
