Alexandre Dumas (24 July 1802–5 December 1870) was a renowned French writer. He is best known for his numerous historical and adventurous novels. He is one of the most widely read French authors in the world. The Count of Monte Cristo, The Three Musketeers, The Man in the Iron Mask, and The Vicomte of Bragelonne are some of his most famous works.
