About the author David Baldacci was born on 5th August 1960, raised in Richmond, Virginia. David Baldacci has been writing since childhood, when his mother gave him a lined notebook in which to write down his stories.He wrote for more than two decades, penning short stories and later screenplays without much success. While practicing law, he turned to novel writing, and took three years to write Absolute Power, Which was Published in 1996. David has published 36 novels for adults; all have been national and international bestsellers, and several have been adapted for film and television. His novels are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with over 130 million worldwide sales. David has also published six novels for younger readers.
