Kaiser HaqKaisar Haq was educated at the universities of Dhaka and Warwick and is professor of English at Dhaka University currently on a visiting appointment at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. He is a poet, essayist and translator and has published seven poetry collections and edited two poetry anthologies. Haq has been a Commonwealth Scholar, Senior Fulbright Scholar, Vilas Fellow, Royal Literary Fund Fellow and Caf? Poet at the UK Poetry Society?s Poetry Caf?. He is a veteran of the Bangladesh independence war and lives in Dhaka.
