Jahnavi Barua Jahnavi Barua is a writer based in Bangalore. Her first book, Next Door, a collection of short stories, was published in December 2008 to wide critical acclaim and her second book, Rebirth, her first novel, was shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2011 and has also been shortlisted for the Commonwealth Book Prize 2012.
